Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Southwest walked away with it. They simply couldn't be stopped on Tuesday as they easily beat the Highlands Owls 84-50. The Dragons have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 13 matches by 20 points or more this season.

Tremayne Martin continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, dropping a double-double with 20 points and 12 boards. He also grabbed seven steals, which is notable because Southwest is 13-3 when he posts at least three steals, but 8-11 otherwise. Aj Franco was another key player, to rack up 20 points.

Southwest's victory bumped their record up to 21-14. As for Highlands, their loss dropped their record down to 20-14.

Southwest has already played their next contest, a 58-52 win against Leander on the 22nd. Highlands does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
