Football Recap: Putnam City West Takes a Loss

Putnam City West was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat dating back to last season. They had to suffer through a 44-6 loss at the hands of the Sapulpa Chieftains. If the Patriots were looking for revenge after losing 58-0 to the Chieftains when the teams met back in October of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Putnam City West didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Qomarj Threatt and Obama Bell. Xavier Farrar was another major factor on D, making 14 total tackles.

Putnam City West's loss dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Sapulpa, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 4-2.
