Football Recap: Pine View Takes a Loss

Pine View lost against Crimson Cliffs back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Panthers took a blow against the Mustangs, falling 56-7. The Panthers were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 35-7.

Levi Shaw threw for 87 yards on 12 of 18 attempts. Garrett Gwilliam was his top target, picking up 44 receiving yards.

Tanoai Andresen produced another solid performance throwing for 205 yards and four TDs while completing 77.3% of his passes, and also rushing for 58 yards on only seven carries for Crimson Cliffs. The dominant performance also gave Andresen a new career-high in passer rating (144.9). Briton Phillips was in the mix too, providing Crimson Cliffs with two scores.

Pine View's defeat dropped their record down to 6-3. As for Crimson Cliffs, their win was their 12th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 8-1.

As of now, neither Pine View nor the Mustangs have any future games scheduled.
