Volleyball Recap: Cactus' Luck Changes for the Better on Wednesday

There's no place like home for Cactus, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Tuesday. They came out on top against the Bradshaw Mountain Bears by a score of 3-1 on Wednesday. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Cobras as it put an end to their five-game losing streak.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 12-25, 27-25, 25-19.

Cactus found their leader in sophomore Vinnie Vitale, who had 22 digs and three aces.

Cactus was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 13 aces. That's the most aces they've posted since back in March.

Cactus picked up their first home victory, bumping their record up to 5-10. As for Bradshaw Mountain, their loss dropped their record down to 4-15.

Cactus wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 2-1 defeat against Gilbert Christian on the 11th. As for Bradshaw Mountain, they have also already played their next match, a 3-0 win against Desert Sunrise on the 11th.
