Softball Recap: Florence Comes Up Short

Florence's tournament run continued when they took on Williams on Saturday. The Gophers fell 4-1 to the Vikings. The Gophers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Harlie Hall was cooking despite her team's loss, going 1-for-2 with one home run.

Florence's defeat dropped their record down to 7-14. As for Williams, they have been performing well recently as they've won ten of their last 13 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-9 record this season.

Florence didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 6-5 victory against Hayden on the 21st. As for Williams, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 17-2 loss against Flagstaff on the 19th.
