Basketball Recap: Cooper Young's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Highland over London

On Saturday, the Highland Fighting Scots ended up a good deal behind the London Red Raiders and lost 69-54. The Fighting Scots have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Highland's defeat came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Cooper Young, who went 5-for-9 en route to 11 points and four steals. Those four steals gave Young a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Jakai Wilson, who posted nine points and five boards.

Highland's loss dropped their record down to 7-16. As for London, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 14-9.

Highland does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for London, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 60-47 defeat against Jonathan Alder on the 26th.
