Flag Football Recap: King Takes a Loss

King fell victim to Etiwanda and their airtight defense on Saturday. They took a blow against the Eagles, falling 42-0. While losing is never fun, the Wolves can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California flag football rankings (they are ranked 256th, while the Eagles are ranked 24th).

CASSANDRA VAZQUEZ went supernova For Etiwanda., throwing for 185 yards and three touchdowns while completing 78.3% of her passes. MARIAH WAKUMOTO did her part to keep the secondary busy, picking up 110 receiving yards.

King dropped their record down to 6-5 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road. As for Etiwanda, the win was the eighth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 11-2.

King has already played their next game, an 18-14 defeat against Centennial on the 22nd. As for Etiwanda, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next matchup, a 33-0 victory against Chino Hills on the 22nd.
