After a string of 19 wins dating back to last season, Mineral Point's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They fell just short of the Southwestern Wildcats by a score of 79-77. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Tuesday (70), the Pointers still had to take the loss.

Mineral Point's defeat ended a 16-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 11-1. As for Southwestern, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 11-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Mineral Point has already played their next game (against Boscobel), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Southwestern has also has no score uploaded for their next contest, this one against Abundant Life.
