Baseball Recap: Blackford Bruins vs. Frankton Eagles

Blackford extended their losing streak to three on Thursday, dropping their season record down to 8-13 in the process. They lost 15-2 to the Frankton Eagles. The Bruins were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Eagles apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in May of 2024.

He is becoming a predictor of Frankton's success: when he posts at least three RBI the team is undefeated (and 4-8 when he doesn't). Jaden Clem was another key player, going 2-for-3 with two RBI, one run, and one double.

Coming up, Blackford will square off against Monroe Central at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. The Bruins are facing the Golden Bears at the right time seeing as the Golden Bears are stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Frankton, they will take on Eastern Hancock at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
