Volleyball Recap: Academy of Aerospace and Engineering Comes Up Short

Academy of Aerospace and Engineering was the 3-1 winner over Cheney Tech when they last played one another back in April, but their luck changed this time around. The Jets fell just short of the Chargers by a score of 3-2 on Tuesday. The Jets just can't catch a break and have now endured four defeats in a row.

Academy of Aerospace and Engineering's loss dropped their record down to 2-10. As for Cheney Tech, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-12.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Academy of Aerospace and Engineering will venture away from home to challenge Academy of Science and Innovation at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. The Jets are facing the Ravens at the right time seeing as the Ravens are stuck on a six-game losing streak. As for Cheney Tech, they will face off against CREC [Civic Leaderdship/Academy of Aerospace and Engineering/Metropolitan Learning Center] at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. The Chargers will also cruise into their next match with the timing on their side: the Colts will have lost four straight heading into Friday's game.
