Softball Recap: Lehi Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Lehi can now relate to. They came up short against the Riverton Silverwolves on Wednesday, falling 11-2. The pitching woes were uncharacteristic for the Pioneers, who until this matchup were averaging 4.03 runs allowed.

Brynlee Cook was cooking despite her team's loss, going 1-for-3 with one home run.

Lehi's loss dropped their record down to 24-10. As for Riverton, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 29-4 record this season.

As of now, neither Lehi nor Riverton have any future games scheduled.
