Baseball Preview: Hammond Tornadoes vs. Fontainebleau Bulldogs
The Hammond Tornadoes will head out to take on the Fontainebleau Bulldogs at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Hammond will be strutting in after a win while Fontainebleau will be coming in after a loss.
Having struggled with three defeats in a row, Hammond turned things around against Springfield on Saturday. Their pitcher stepped up to hand the Bulldogs a 4-0 shutout.
The result came thanks to Justin Harland's shutout, as he gave up just three hits and racked up six Ks. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in four consecutive appearances.
