Soccer Recap: South Gibson's Luck Takes a Turn for the Worse on Thursday

After soaring to seven goals the game before, South Gibson was a bit more limited in their game on Thursday. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Crockett County Cavaliers. South Gibson were not able to make up for their defeat to Crockett County from their previous meeting back in April of 2024.

The loss snapped South Gibson's winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 4-4 record. As for Crockett County, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 6-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. South Gibson will welcome Obion County at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Crockett County, they will host Haywood at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
