Basketball Recap: Faith Christian Academy Snaps Three-Game Streak of Losses on the Road

Faith Christian Academy got their first taste of in-conference action this week and they started things off strong. They snuck past the Gilead Christian Eagles with a 35-30 victory on Friday. This was a revenge game for Faith Christian Academy: when they faced off against Gilead Christian back in November of 2024, they had to take a 46-40 defeat.

Several Eagles players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Max Keller, who posted ten points and three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Gage Beacom, who had nine points.

Faith Christian Academy's win ended a three-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-3. As for Gilead Christian, their loss dropped their record down to 8-7.

Faith Christian Academy will venture away from home to face off against Kingsway Christian at 6:45 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Gilead Christian, they will welcome Warsaw W at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
