Oak Hall has gone a perfect 4-0 against Countryside Christian recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Eagles will take on the Minutemen at 4:00 p.m. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty run totals in their previous games.
Last Thursday, Oak Hall got the win against Eastside by a conclusive 11-3. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Eagles.
Brayden Farmer was a major factor while hitting and pitching. He tossed 1.2 innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. He also tossed no earned runs, which is notable because Oak Hall is 6-3 when he allows at most three earned runs, but 1-5 otherwise. Farmer was also big at the plate, scoring two runs and stealing two bases while going 1-for-2.

In other batting news, Gavin Jones was incredible, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-3. He is becoming a predictor of Oak Hall's success: when he posts at least two runs the team is undefeated (and 3-8 when he doesn't). Graham Rosenstone was another key player, scoring a run while going 3-for-3.
Meanwhile, after a string of four wins, Countryside Christian's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They fell 14-10 to Bell.
Tristan Weathers and Brayden Dalton stepped up to the plate in a big way. Weathers scored two runs and stole a base while going 3-for-5, while Dalton scored a run and stole a base while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances. Weathers also hit two doubles, marking his first of the season. Another player making a difference was Eli Gruenwald, who scored a run and stole two bases while going 1-for-3.
Countryside Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 14-5. As for Oak Hall, their win bumped their record up to 7-8.
The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Tuesday as neither team is afraid to steal. Oak Hall has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 3.3 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Countryside Christian struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 8.7 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.
Oak Hall skirted past Countryside Christian 4-3 when the teams last played back in March. Do the Eagles have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Minutemen turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
