Volleyball Recap: Windward Continues Home Dominance on Tuesday

There's no place like home for Windward, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Saturday. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the Marlborough Mustangs on Tuesday.

While Windward might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Marlborough scored at least 18 points in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-20, 25-19, 21-25, 25-18.

Marlborough's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Tatawan Vongfak, who had 19 digs and six assists, and Jocelyn Schechter, who had six digs and three aces. Vongfak is crushing it when it comes to digs: she's had at least 14 every time she's taken the court this season.

Windward pushed their record up to 6-1 with the victory, which was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season. As for Marlborough, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-5.

Windward wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 loss against Notre Dame Academy on the 28th. As for Marlborough, they have also already played their next contest, a 3-1 defeat against Harvard-Westlake on the 28th.
