Soccer Recap: Marietta Takes a Loss

While it was all tied up 0-0 at halftime, Marietta was not quite Morgan's equal in the second half on Saturday. They fell just short of the Raiders by a score of 1-0. Marietta just can't catch a break and have now endured three losses in a row.

Marietta's defeat dropped their record down to 2-6-1. As for Morgan, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 6-3.

Looking ahead, Marietta will face off against Point Pleasant at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Point Pleasant's last four matchups have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Morgan, they will venture away from home to take on John Glenn at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
