Soccer Game Preview: St. Catherine's vs. Trinity Christian

The St. Catherine's Saints will head out to take on the Trinity Christian Gryphons at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.

St. Catherine's managed to keep up with St. Anne's-Belfield until halftime on Tuesday, but things quickly went downhill from there. St. Catherine's lost 5-1 to St. Anne's-Belfield. St. Catherine's hasn't had much luck with St. Anne's-Belfield recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

St. Catherine's goal came courtesy of Mary Mitchell, which was the first she's scored this season.

Meanwhile, Trinity Christian entered their tilt with Seton on Tuesday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They were the clear victors by a 6-1 margin over the Conquistadors.

St. Catherine's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Trinity Christian, their win bumped their record up to 3-0.

St. Catherine's might still be hurting after the 8-0 loss they got from Trinity Christian in their previous matchup back in March of 2024. Can St. Catherine's avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
