Basketball Recap: Saturday's Victory Is Richland's Ninth in Last 11 Outings

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Loretto, Richland was happy to have turned things around on Saturday. They put the hurt on the Fayetteville Tigers with a sharp 64-39 victory. The Raiders have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won ten matches by 23 points or more this season.

Richland is on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last 11 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-8 record this season. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 31.4 points. Fayetteville is on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-20.

Looking ahead, Richland will challenge Moore County on Tuesday. Moore County has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. Fayetteville does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
