Baseball Recap: South Harrison Takes a Loss

South Harrison blew Union Star out of the water the last time the pair played, but on Monday Union Star got their revenge. The Bulldogs fell just short of the Trojans by a score of 2-0. The game marked the first time this season in which the Bulldogs were not able to get on the board.

South Harrison's loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 7-9. As for Union Star, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 6-6.

South Harrison has already played their next match, a 2-0 defeat against King City on the 5th. As for Union Star, they will head out to face off against DeKalb at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Tigers have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 8.56 runs per game on average), something the Trojans will no doubt try to take advantage of.
