Basketball Game Preview: Stafford Indians vs. Caroline Cavaliers

Having just played yesterday, the Stafford Indians will head out on the road to face off against the Caroline Cavaliers at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday. Caroline took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on Stafford, who comes in off a win.

Stafford will bounce into Saturday's contest after beating Mountain View, who they had gone 2-7 against in their nine prior meetings. Stafford came out on top against Mountain View by a score of 41-31 on Friday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Indians.

Meanwhile, Caroline was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They came up short against Culpeper County, falling 71-51. While losing is never fun, the Cavaliers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Virginia basketball rankings (they are ranked 238th, while the Blue Devils are ranked 91st).

Stafford pushed their record up to 6-4 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. As for Caroline, their loss dropped their record down to 3-8.
