Volleyball Recap: Faith Christian Knights vs. Charleston Collegiate Sundevils

Faith Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against the Charleston Collegiate Sundevils, falling 3-0. The Knights were not able to make up for their loss to the Sundevils from their previous meeting back in October of 2024.

While Faith Christian ultimately came up short, they really made Charleston Collegiate work, particularly in the second set. The final score came out to 25-15, 29-27, 25-16.

Charleston Collegiate's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Evie Baslow led the charge by getting 13 kills, six digs, five aces, and two blocks. With that strong performance, Baslow is now averaging an impressive 2.1 aces per game. Vika Vuyiv was another key player, getting nine kills and two aces.
