Soccer Recap: Cascade Comes Up Short at Home Against Speedway

Cascade unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-pitch advantage in their season opener. They came up short against the Speedway Sparkplugs on Tuesday, falling 6-3. Cascade were not able to make up for their loss to Speedway from their previous meeting back in August of 2023.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Cascade will take on Crawfordsville at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. This will be Cascade's first chance to prove their worth in the conference. As for Speedway, they will look to take advantage of their home pitch for the first time this season as they take on West Lafayette at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
