There's no place like home for Fountain Valley, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Thursday. Everything went their way against the Dolores Huerta Prep Scorpions on Thursday as the Fountain Valley Danes made off with a 66-41 win. The Danes have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four games by 25 points or more this season.

Nick Prantl was his usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 15 points and ten steals. Another player making a difference was Jaden Lopez-Hardy, who went 7 of 13 en route to 15 points in addition to five rebounds and three steals.

With the victory, Fountain Valley broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 4-3. As for Dolores Huerta Prep, they dropped their record down to 2-8 with the defeat, which was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Fountain Valley didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 64-57 loss against Pikes Peak Christian on the 28th. As for Dolores Huerta Prep, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 75-36 defeat against Trinidad on the 24th.
