Baseball Recap: Levelland Triumphs

Levelland was not the first on the board on Thursday, but they got there more often. They skirted past the Midland Classical Academy Knights 6-4. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Lobos have posted since April 26, 2024.

Levelland is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 5-5 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.3 runs over those games. Midland Classical Academy has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-5 record this season.

Levelland will venture away from home to face off against Non Varsity Opponent at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Midland Classical Academy, they will face off against Big Spring at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
