            Volleyball Recap: Fenton Tigers vs. Yale Bulldogs        
        
		
        
        
            The Fenton Tigers were able to grind out a solid  win over the Yale Bulldogs on Saturday, taking the game  2-0.
 Marley Pihlstrom paced Fenton's offense, picking up eight kills. Pihlstrom got some help from  Eva Long and her 13 assists.  Olivia Pittman controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.
 Yale's  loss shouldn't obscure the performances of  Olivia Runnals, who  had 13  digs and two  aces, and  Giana Nash, who  had three  digs and two  aces. Runnals has been hot recently, having  posted 11 or more  digs the last three times she's  played.
Fenton's victory bumped their record up to 16-10. As for Yale,  they are  on  a  three-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 20-17-1.
 Coincidentally, Fenton and Yale will both be playing Davison the next time they take the court. The Bulldogs will  host the Cardinals at 10:00  a.m.  on Saturday, while the Tigers will play them later in the day, at 11:00  a.m.
