Basketball Game Preview: Ardrey Kell Knights vs. Lancaster Bruins

The Ardrey Kell Knights and the Lancaster Bruins will face off at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday without much rest having both just played. Ardrey Kell will be strutting in after a win while Lancaster will be coming in after a loss.

On Friday, everything went Ardrey Kell's way against Palisades as Ardrey Kell made off with a 54-33 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Knights.

Meanwhile, Lancaster was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They had to suffer through a 93-47 loss at the hands of Camden. The Bruins were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 47-18.

Ardrey Kell will need focus on slowing down Kaylyn Hollenbeck, one of several Lancaster players who made an impact when they last played. She posted nine points and six rebounds. Another player making a difference was Kemarja Peay, who had eight points.

Ardrey Kell has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a massive bump to their 8-7 record this season. As for Lancaster, their loss dropped their record down to 7-9.
