Basketball Recap: Veritas School Snaps Eight-Game Streak of Losses on the Road

Veritas School was handed a 33-point defeat in their previous outing, but that didn't affect their clutch gene on Friday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the Walsingham Academy Trojans 41-39. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 50-45 back in December of 2024.

Veritas School found their leader in sophomore London Smith, who posted 18 points. Another player making a difference was Liam Cruess, who earned nine points and five rebounds.
