Soccer Recap: Columbia Comes Up Short

Columbia was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 1-0 heartbreaker at the hands of the North Pike Jaguars. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against North Pike this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in October.

Columbia's defeat dropped their record down to 1-5. As for North Pike, their win bumped their record up to 3-0.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Columbia will venture away from home to face off against Hattiesburg at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for North Pike, they will take on Loyd Star at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
