Basketball Recap: Dayton Sets Scoring Season-High Against Keyport/Hudson Regional

Dayton scored the most points they've had this season on Saturday, but it wasn't enough. They fell 75-68 to the Keyport/Hudson Regional Raiders. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Thursday (55), the Bulldogs still had to take the loss.

Dayton lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Lucas Antonio, who dropped a double-double on 21 points and 12 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Nicky Perez, who went 6 of 13 on his way to 14 points along with eight assists and eight rebounds.

Even though they lost, Dayton was working as a unit and finished the game with 19 assists. That's the most assists they've posted since back in January of 2024.

Dayton is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-5.

Dayton will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Brearley at 5:30 p.m. Keyport/Hudson Regional does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
