Basketball Recap: Elk Grove Gets the Win + How To Watch

Elk Grove won the last time they faced Atwater and things went their way on Thursday too. The Thundering Herd secured a 75-70 W over the Falcons. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Thundering Herd.

Josh Wilks had another great game (as he tends to do), shooting 56% from the field on his way to 25 points and three steals. Josiah Anderson was another key player, going 5-for-12 to rack up 11 points along with five boards and three steals.

Elk Grove's win bumped their record up to 6-3. As for Atwater, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-5.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Elk Grove and Granite Bay will face off at 7:30 p.m. on Friday without much rest, having both just played. As for Atwater, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Natomas at 5:00 p.m. on the 30th.
