Baseball Recap: Steinert's Loss Ends Four-Game Winning Streak at Home

Steinert was the 5-1 winner over Hillsborough when they last played one another back in April of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Spartans fell just short of the Raiders by a score of 3-1 on Saturday. The contest marked the Spartans' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Steinert's defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 2-3. As for Hillsborough, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-2.

Coming up, Steinert will look to defend their home field on Monday against Trenton Central at 4:00 p.m. As for Hillsborough, they will challenge Bridgewater-Raritan at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
