Verrado came tearing into Tuesday's matchup with four straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They blew past the Desert Edge Scorpions 3-0. The Vipers have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Scorpions, too.

The final score came out to 25-6, 25-15, 25-21.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Verrado to victory, but perhaps none more so than Elleana Bejarano, who had 31 digs and two assists. Those 31 digs gave Bejarano a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Baylee Wakeham, who had 37 assists and nine digs.

Verrado's win bumped their record up to 7-5. As for Desert Edge, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-6.

Verrado wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-0 loss against Canyon View on the 25th. As for Desert Edge, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 defeat against Ironwood on the 24th.
