Volleyball Recap: Dynamic Duo of Addi Pease and Tori Schlatter Lead Paulding to Victory

Paulding lost to Pettisville back in August of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Thursday. The Panthers were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Blackbirds.

While Paulding might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Pettisville scored at least 18 points in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-19, 25-21, 25-18.

Paulding was led to victory by Tori Schlatter and Addi Pease. Schlatter had 12 digs and two assists, while Pease had five aces. Those five aces gave Pease a new career-high.

They weren't the only good server: Paulding was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 11 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least nine aces every time they've taken the court this season.

Paulding now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Pettisville, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Paulding will square off against Bryan at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Pettisville, they will face off against Gorham Fayette at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
