Basketball Game Preview: Duluth Wildcats vs. Meadowcreek Mustangs

The Duluth Wildcats will face off against the Meadowcreek Mustangs at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Duluth comes in on three and Meadowcreek on five.

Last Friday, it was close, but Duluth sidestepped Discovery for a 40-37 win.

Meanwhile, it may have taken overtime to finish the job, but Meadowcreek ultimately got the result they hoped for on Saturday. They skirted past Norcross 70-68. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Mustangs have posted since November 10, 2023.

Meadowcreek has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 games, which provided a nice bump to their 11-4 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 65.4 points per game. As for Duluth, their win bumped their record up to 9-7.

Duluth didn't have too much breathing room in their match against Meadowcreek when the teams last played back in January of 2024, but they still walked away with a 54-49 victory. Will Duluth repeat their success, or does Meadowcreek have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
