Basketball Recap: Richard Picks Up Sixth Straight Win on the Road

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Cabrini, Richard was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They took down the Ecorse Raiders 63-47. Given the Pioneers' advantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 20th, while the Raiders are ranked 325th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Richard pushed their record up to 19-3 with the win, which was their sixth straight on the road. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 36.8 points. As for Ecorse, their loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 15-7.

Coming up, Richard will take on Arbor Prep in a tournament on Tuesday. Arbor Prep will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something Richard surely won't give up without a fight. Ecorse does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
