Baseball Recap: West Comes Up Short

West lost against St. Mary last Monday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. West came up short against St. Mary's, falling 16-1. The Wolfpack have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

West saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jackson Chiles, who scored a run while going 1-for-1.

West's defeat dropped their record down to 4-7-1. As for St. Mary's, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 5-4.

While West had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
