It was another game, another high-octane performance for Colleyville Heritage last week (their 5th in a row). It blew past Grapevine 51 - 28. The dominant performance adds to Colleyville Heritage's intimidating total: it now has five blowout victories so far this season. The team's efforts were enough to boost its power ranking by 14, which was the most sizeable gain made by any team in the rankings.
Big Showdown
It was a battle of top-notch squads when San Angelo Central (34th in the state) took on Permian (32nd) last week. San Angelo Central came out on top against Permian with a 31 - 20 win. The victory boosted San Angelo Central a satisfying 12 spots in the power rankings.
Upcoming Drama
The big showdown in the power rankings this week is between Katy (1st in the state) and Strake Jesuit (81st). The last time they met, Katy really took it to Strake Jesuit, winning 54 - 6. Will Katy come out on top again? We'll soon find out.
