Basketball Game Preview: Tri-City Tornadoes vs. Lutheran Crusaders

The Tri-City Tornadoes will head out on the road to face off against the Lutheran Crusaders at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Tri-City is coming into the matchup on a five-game losing streak.

Last Tuesday, Tri-City came up short against Nokomis and fell 56-45.

Meanwhile, Lutheran also suffered a loss in their last game, falling to South County by a score of 58-51. The loss continues a trend for the Crusaders in their matchups with the Vipers: they've now lost seven in a row.

Tri-City's defeat dropped their record down to 11-18. As for Lutheran, their loss dropped their record down to 9-19.

Tri-City came up short against Lutheran in their previous matchup back in February of 2024, falling 60-50. Can Tri-City avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
