Softball Recap: Cambridge Takes a Loss

After some red-hot attacks at the plate in their last three games, Cambridge finally came back down to earth on Thursday. They lost 22-2 to the Greenwich Witches. The N/A haven't had much luck with the Witches recently, as the team has come up short the last seven times they've met.

Cambridge's defeat dropped their record down to 6-6. As for Greenwich, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-3 record this season.

Coincidentally, Cambridge and Greenwich will both be playing Saratoga Central Catholic the next time they take the field. The N/A will host the Saints at 4:30 p.m. on Friday, while the Witches will host them at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
