Basketball Recap: McNairy Central Comes Up Short

McNairy Central has been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They took a 66-57 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Lexington Tigers on Tuesday. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bobcats this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 49-46 on January 9th.

McNairy Central's defeat dropped their record down to 14-7. As for Lexington, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 14-5 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. A feisty cat fight is on tap when the McNairy Central Bobcats duke it out with the Hardin County Tigers at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Lexington, they will challenge Jackson North Side at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Lexington is facing Jackson North Side at the right time seeing as Jackson North Side is stuck on a ten-game losing streak.
