Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Kewaskum). Their defense stepped up to hand the Campbellsport Cougars a 16-0 shutout on Thursday. The high-scoring effort was just what Kewaskum needed considering they were shut out in their previous game.

Their offense was hitting Campbellsport from everywhere, as 15 different players booted in a goal. Colton Rabe led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by himself.

The win got Kewaskum back to even at 4-4-2. As for Campbellsport, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-7.

The future could be bright for both Kewaskum and Campbellsport: their next opponents haven't had the best luck recently. The Indians will try to hand Mayville their third-straight loss when the two meet at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. Meanwhile, Campbellsport will look to extend St. Lawrence Seminary's six-game losing streak when they meet at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
