Basketball Recap: Grosse Pointe South Comes Up Short

Grosse Pointe South was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 78-55 to the Ferndale Eagles. If the Blue Devils were looking for revenge after losing 67-61 to them when the teams met back in December of 2022, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Grosse Pointe South's loss dropped their record down to 7-13. As for Ferndale, their win bumped their record up to 8-13.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Grosse Pointe South will head out to take on Dakota at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Dakota knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past three matches -- so hopefully Grosse Pointe South likes a good challenge. As for Ferndale, they will head out on the road to face off against Adams at 7:00 p.m. on February 18th.
