With a playoff win on the line, Holy Trinity Episcopal Academy rose to the challenge on Saturday. They won by a set and slipped past the Canterbury Cougars 3-2. The victory was familiar territory for the Tigers, who have now won four matchups in a row.

Holy Trinity Episcopal Academy was staring down a 2-1 deficit headed into the fourth set, but they rallied to take the next two for the win. The match finished with set scores of 22-25, 25-21, 21-25, 25-21, 15-9.

Audrey Herbert paced Holy Trinity Episcopal Academy's offense, picking up 26 kills. Herbert got some help from Julie Watt and her 50 assists. Watt was also solid from the service line: she led the team with eight aces.

Holy Trinity Episcopal Academy's win bumped their record up to 17-8. As for Canterbury, their loss dropped their record down to 16-13.

Looking ahead, Holy Trinity Episcopal Academy will head out to take on First Baptist Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Canterbury does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
