Shade had already won seven in a row and they went ahead and made it eight on Tuesday. They came out on top against the Ferndale Yellow Jackets by a score of 3-1. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in September.

The final score came out to 25-12, 23-25, 25-13, 25-23.

Shade got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Hayden Oaks out in front who had 11 digs and two aces. That's the most aces Oaks has posted over her last six matches. The team also got some help courtesy of Madelyn Naret, who had 11 digs.

They weren't the only good servers: Shade was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 15 aces. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Ferndale only served four.

Shade's victory bumped their record up to 11-4. As for Ferndale, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost seven of their last eight matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-16-1 record this season.

Shade has already played their next contest (against Salisbury Elk Lick), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Ferndale, they have also already played their next match, a 3-0 win against Turkeyfoot Valley Area on the 9th.
