Soccer Recap: Vista Ridge Comes Up Short

After soaring to eight goals the game before, Vista Ridge was a bit more limited in their match on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Hutto Hippos by a score of 2-1.

Vista Ridge's goal came courtesy of Lily Vandiver, who's now up to 20 this season.

Vista Ridge's defeat was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 10-7-3. As for Hutto, the victory got them back to even at 8-8-2.

Looking ahead, Vista Ridge will look to defend their home pitch on Friday against Round Rock Westwood at 7:15 p.m. As for Hutto, they will head out to square off against McNeil at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. McNeil will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more goals each game than the last.
