Volleyball Recap: Augusta E Starts Season with Victory on the Road

Augusta E had to kick off their season on the road on Thursday, but they showed no ill effects. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Aquinas Fightin' Irish. The Eagles not only won on Thursday, but they posted their biggest win since August 27, 2024 (when they won 3-0).

Augusta E walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the third set). The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-21, 25-13.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Augusta E will head out to take on Veritas Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Aquinas, they will venture away from home to square off against Fox Creek at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
