Softball Recap: Chase Trojans vs. Maple Grove Red Dragons
There's no place like home for Chase, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Monday. They blew past the Maple Grove Red Dragons 17-3 on Tuesday. With that victory, the Trojans brought their scoring average up to 6.6 runs per game.
Myra Beaver made a splash while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out seven batters over five innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs off four hits. That's the most strikeouts she has posted since back in February. She was also big at the plate, going 3-for-4 with two runs, one triple, and two RBI.

In other batting news, Montana Honeycutt and A'Mya Phillips did most of the damage at the plate: Honeycutt went 2-for-3 with one home run, two stolen bases, and three runs, while Phillips went 3-for-4 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs.
