Basketball Recap: Cramerton Christian Academy Comes Up Short

Cramerton Christian Academy was the 40-22 winner over Union Grove Christian when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. The Cramerton Christian Academy Crusaders fell 46-38 to the Union Grove Christian Patriots on Thursday.

Union Grove Christian can attribute much of their success to Taylor Hanes, who dropped a double-double on ten points and ten boards. Another player making a difference was Klaire Cromer, who posted 12 points.

Cramerton Christian Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 6-4. As for Union Grove Christian, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 8-8.

Cramerton Christian Academy will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Faith Christian at 6:00 p.m. on January 7, 2025. Cramerton Christian Academy is facing Faith Christian at the right time seeing as Faith Christian is stuck on a five-game losing streak. As for Union Grove Christian, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 41-30 victory against Alamance Christian on the 20th.
