Baseball Recap: Desert Comes Up Short

Desert entered their game against California City on Friday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Scorpions came up short against the Ravens, falling 20-0. The contest marked the first time this season in which the Scorpions were not able to get on the board.

This is the second loss in a row for Desert and nudges their season record down to 4-3. As for California City, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 5-5-1.

Desert didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 13-3 defeat against Kern Valley on the 1st. As for California City, they have also already played their next game, a 15-5 victory against Mammoth on the 4th.
